Hi, we’re Shawn and Corri Hawkey. Our business really started as an idea around a campfire one evening, tying jigs with friends while getting ready for the upcoming fluke/flounder season. We were talking about how we’ve been fishing and making our own jigs and rigs for decades, and a friend pointed out that we’d basically been doing this our whole lives. Around that same time, Shawn took his first Long Island fishing trip and was introduced to swing-hook bucktails.

That was the spark. We realized we could take the experience we’ve built over the years and combine it with the unique mechanics and advantages of a swing hook — and that’s what inspired us to start this business almost two years ago.
